Endorsements

The Greendale Teacher's union backed candidates based on the following:

1. Candidate supports teacher roles in decision making.

2. Candidate supports competitive teacher pay and benefits.

3. Candidate is connected and involved in the schools.

4. Candidate supports equity in the schools. (Equal access for all)

When serving as the Business Official for Greendale Schools, Ms. Hughes worked with me on the Citizen Budget Committee for years, helping solve budget issues, advising on compensation, referenda, facilities and tax issues.  Part of the work of the team was to advise on budget priorities to provide every student the best opportunities possible in academics as well as music, the arts, theater and sports.  Her input was invaluable in this work.  Her degrees in accounting, actuarial science and experience in public accounting, insures that she understands the district's revenue and expenses, priorities, strengths, opportunities and threats.  She will be an outstanding school board member serving students, staff, tax payers and the general community.  GSD School Board will be lucky to have her serve! 

This organization helps this community's voice to be heard in all local elections.
